The Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, is a very uncommon representative of the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogbulldog family. The breed is based within the Bulldogs that were kept in the southern United States as Farm dogs.  In fact, the Bulldogs are from the area of the Alapaha River in southern Georgia.

Breeder, Buck Lane developed this dog species.  Today there are more than 200 animals. At up to 63.5cm, it can be a medium-sized dog, weighing 41kg. The coat is short, is a tight fit and can be in many colors.  The alternative name “Otto” is derived from the ancestor of the breeding line, the Otto Buck Lane dog.  What is remarkable with these dogs is the difference between the sexes: large males can be twice as heavy as little bitches.
