Alano Espanol Dog

The Alano Espanol is a breed of dog from Spain.  The bitches have a shoulder height of 56cm to 61cm and from 33kg to 38kg heavy.  The males are 60cm to 65cm at shoulder height and have a weight of 38kg to 45kg. The breed is of the Real Sociedad Canina de Espana (RSCE), representing Spain in the Cynologique Federation Internationale (FCI).

Ss such, it is recognized and represented in Spanish purebred dog shows, where they are awarded the CAC (Certificat d’au Championnat) for aptitude.
