Basset Fauve de Bretagne Dog

Basset fauve de Bretagne is a recognized French breed. It is a small, (up to 38 cm high), compact, very lively hunting dog. The fur is short, Basset Fauve de Bretagne Dogrough, and hard, but not woolly or curly. It is fawn in color, from wheat-colored to brick.

It is usually set at small game. It is said to have an extraordinary talent for the hunt, which is why the breed very popular with hunters.
