Basenji dog

The Basenji is a breed of dog originally from Africa. The primitive race is used for hunting and tracking. The Basenjis have the unique feature of not barking, but they emit a strange sound in the style of yodelling (Yodel).

It is recommended for households with adults. Although when young they are restless and playful, when they finish growing they become excellent pets. Some ancient Egyptian beliefs represent Basenjis with other breeds of dogs like hounds and greyhounds.
